ANN ARBOR, Mich. – Fire crews in Ann Arbor believe a motorcycle repair could have caused a house fire.
It happened Sunday, April 27, just before 3 p.m. at a home on Gott Street, just north of Pearl Street. According to authorities, fire crews arrived to find a garage fire that spread to the home’s attic. The blaze was extinguished, but it reportedly caused roughly $100,000 in damages.

The house and many of its contents were saved. One person suffered minor burns and they are expected to be OK.
Fire crews believe it was caused by a flash gasoline fire that happened while a motorcycle was being repaired.
