YPSILANTI TOWNSHIP, Mich. – Michigan State Police are looking for a driver who struck a pedestrian on I-94 in Ypsilanti Township.

It happened Sunday, May 25, just before 2:30 a.m. near the US-12 bypass. According to authorities, police had received reports of a naked man who was walking eastbound in the westbound lanes of I-94.

An ambulance from Huron Valley Ambulance arrived on the scene, but before they could contact the man, he was struck by a dark-colored sedan that did not stop.

First responders gave aid to the man -- identified as a 52-year-old from Warren -- but he died at the scene.

Police are looking for the driver of the sedan, which may have damage on its passenger side.
