The Mega Millions jackpot has reached $264 million for the drawing on Friday the 13th, which has proven to be a lucky day for players in Michigan.
So far, four Michigan residents have won a Mega Millions jackpot on Friday the 13th.
If a Michigander wins tomorrow, it’ll be the largest jackpot won in the state on what many consider to be an unlucky day.
Previous Friday the 13th jackpot wins
The most recent Mega Millions jackpot was won in Michigan on Oct. 13, 2017, when a Waterford man won half of a $42 million jackpot. He split it with another winner, who purchased their winning ticket in Rhode Island.
Before that, a Port Huron woman won a $66 million jackpot in 2014, and a Kalamazoo man won a $27 million jackpot in 2011.

The first time that a Michigan Mega Millions player won the jackpot on Friday the 13th was in 2008 when a Kent City man won $57 million.
Last Mega Millions jackpot win in Michigan
The last time a Mega Millions jackpot was won in Michigan was in January 2021.
An Oakland County lottery club won a $1.05 billion jackpot, which is the largest jackpot ever won in Michigan.
Friday’s Mega Millions drawing
Mega Millions tickets will be sold until 10:45 p.m. on Friday. Tickets can be purchased online and at lottery retailers.
Each Mega Millions play is $5 and includes a built-in multiplier.
The drawing is at 11 p.m. on Friday.
